Been hearing good comments about Wild Hogs and every year they will be at the Kaamatan Bazaar! So why not we find the pork? 😆
Wild hogs has been in town for quite sometimes and in fact they have their own stall or outlet on the way to the Kota Kinabalu International Airport. I always wanted to check them out, but they have been moving places to places when I planned to go. This time, everyone is sure about their location which is near to the Petronas gas station near Cyber City.
It’s also my first time exploring KDCA at night before the actual Harvest Festival day. Parking is a mess. Trust me. If you can get any parking that you can, just take that. Please also drive a smaller car so you can park easily. In addition to that, people start taking advantages in earning extra cash by charging RM5.00 at certain parking area which they stated as “their territory”. Well, anyway, it’s just RM5.00 and we didn’t park there 😜
Heading our way to KDCA was crazy. People walk back and forth, flooded with numerous people. Some were drunk at that time; 10pm. It must be a hell of a party there. Haha.
There’s something that I don’t like – potholes. Since we took our first step into the compound, there are quite a number of potholes, filled with dirty water. Plus, it was dark at night and we have to avoid most of them! Haha. Fun, but it is annoying. Can’t they fix it since it is an event venue? How much does it cost anyway to fix it + accumulating the same problem over the past years? To have a successful event, is to get the public interested, comfortable and safe.
Anyway, PORK BURGER. Most of my friends highly recommended Wild Hogs over the rest of the stalls. So, we tried to hunt for the name and it was just right in front as you walk towards the end from the first row of stalls on the left at the main entrance of KDCA. True enough, people are queuing up for these delicious burgers. Everyone at the stall are helping each other to make the business run. Separated into a few teams, 2 of them are the chef who cooks the patty, 2 of them wrap the burgers, 2 of them handles the customers. What a teamwork!
Well, most of the stalls are full house! So we tapau the burgers, bought some drinks from the supermarket and enjoy ’em at another special venue. Hehehe. I bet you can recognise this place. Mamamam 🙂
