Fragments of Nature by Adrian Ho, CAD Centre for Arts & Design, Events, Exhibition, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Chloe Tiffany Lee

The Malaysian natural heritage – rainforest, mountain, rivers and the sea- allows me the platform to explore its many physical forms and sensory nuances; the impact of human habitation and cultural influence; contemporary preoccupation and concerns; and my personal relationship with it. Physically large and visually relatively accessible, my paintings invite contemplation and participation; conjure up curiosity and catalyst for dialogue; even confront and challenge viewers for debate. My painting initiative also hopes to resonate with the environmental awareness within South East Asian region as well as globally. Fragments of Nature invites viewers to get to know nature closer with its idiosyncrasies and intricacies through the artists’ eyes. This hopefully will allow viewers to engage in visual comprehension as well as being catalyzed to further dialogues on nature.

Adrian Ho’s exhibition is currently being exhibited at CAD gallery’s 1st floor area. We welcome you to visit us soon. For more info please call 088 310 868 / emailinfo@artsdesign.my
