A multitasker who, by her own admission, can make the trains run on time.

Sabah is my home; I write, talk and share about it worldwide. On project basis, I received tasks from external links and I put my commitment to complete my job wholeheartedly. On side projects, I planned for most of my organisations to achieve goals.

I worked in several industries – Tourism, Publications & Events.

Currently I am working as the Publicity & Publication Executive and the Copywriter of Sabah Malaysian Borneo magazine for Sri Pelancongan Sabah Sdn. Bhd. (wholly-owned subsidiary of Sabah Tourism Board). Several premier events that are organised by SPS are Sabah Fest, Sunset Music Fest, Mount Kinabalu International Climbathon and Kiulu Adventure Challenge, just to name a few.

So, basically my job is to (1) promote the events held in Sabah, (2) work closely with designers, (3) handling media and press, (4) writer for Sabah Malaysian Borneo magazine, (5) magazine advertisement

Wait, that’s not all. I am also a Freelance Licensed Tour Guide under Tropical Holidays Paradise Sdn. Bhd. and a member of Sabah Tourist Guides Association. Few of my unforgettable moments with my fellow tourists were the sisters from Hong Kong, 3 friends from Japan and soon, I guess will be Sail Malaysia.

Borneo Eco Film Festival is the biggest event which I attached with since 2012. Putting all my commitments to BEFF, I also one of the Board Members (Logistic Manager 2012-13) overlooking the ground arrangement for SUARA Community Filmmaking, event venue and of course the social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I am also helping events such as Twestival, Project AWARE and many more.

In December 2011, I was appointed as the Sabah Young Tourism Ambassador (special thanks to the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia, Sabah Tourism Board, and Sabah Tourist Association). Promoting places in Sabah, the North Borneo is my duty. My journey as the tourism ambassador is amazing as I get to travel to places such as Danum Valley, Tabin Wildlife Reserve, Sabah Tea Garden, the North Borneo Railway, etc. All of this has something in common which is a tourist destination, but what are different will be the experiences at each destination.

As a Freelance Journalist, I’m writing for several magazines in Sabah and Sarawak, mostly about travel and food. Photography is one of my passions too as well as videography.

No matter how busy I am, I will never forget to lend a hand to help the community, especially children as they are the future generation. I am also the youngest committee member of SAVE – Sabah Association for Voluntary Effort (2013 – 2015), The Sabah Society (2013 – current: Honourary Treasurer)

I started blogging since year 2006. Well, it’s all about sharing my experiences and journey to all my readers. As time goes by, I have changed my blog design several times and now I have launched my very own ‘.com’ as most of my readers have advised me to do so. Anyhow, I am still continuing to write about places that I have been to, food reviews, travel and life experience, events, perhaps some special post of certain thoughts and many more. So stay tune!
